THEODORE, Ala. — Most visitors associate Bellingrath Gardens and Home with one season and one plant, spring and azaleas. But November certainly rivals spring with the floral displays of cascading chrysanthemums.

Unlike spring where Mother Nature is responsible for the floral beauty that visitors admire, their horticultural staff works over 10 months to create these fall displays.

Visitors that go to Bellingrath through Nov. 22 will see the Cascading Mum Bloom Out, which is America’s largest outdoor display of chrysanthemums at their peak.

This year the mum display features over 55 hanging baskets, 150 columns and 450 cascades.

In addition to the amazing cascades, columns and baskets, 6,800 garden mums are featured in the floral borders, containers and terraces of the gardens.

See fantastic cascade mums on bridges, balconies and in baskets in the fall colors of red, yellow, bronze, orange and white throughout the gardens.
