Aubrey Lee Eddins, born Nov. 30, 1922, passed away at home Sept. 6, 2014.
Aubrey was the beloved husband of Roberta “Bobbi” Eddins for 65 years.
He leaves behind two daughters, Lynn Evridge (Raymond) and Karen Eddins; five grandchildren, Dianna Bishop, Ron Devery, Tiffany (Steven) Shutt, Crystal Thomas and Starlyn (Jeremy) Laird. Aubrey also had six great-grandchildren, and was affectionately known as “BigDad.” He also leaves behind two nieces, cousins and many friends.
Aubrey graduated from Murphy High School in Mobile, and studied art at the University of Alabama Extension in Mobile.
He served with the Army during World War II.
He retired from the GM&O Railroad after 35 years.
Services will be held graveside Thursday, Sept. 11, 2014, at 11 a.m., at St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Bon Secour.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to St. Peter’s Church, P.O. Box 29, Bon Secour, AL 36511.
