DAPHNE, Ala.—The Daphne Public Library’s Summer Reading Program—sponsored by the Friends of the Daphne Library—continues with illustrator and author Michael P. White from 11 a.m. to noon June 22 at the Daphne Recreation Center. White is best known for his illustrations in “The Library Dragon” and “Harriet’s Horrible Hair Day” and will teach young and old how one idea can start a story.

White will create a picture as he speaks.
