to the risk of severe weather and flooding expected in Baldwin County associated with Tropical Storm Fay:
•Opening at 6 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 23.
Mass Care/General Population Shelters:
1. Fairhope Satellite Courthouse
1100 Fairhope Ave.
2. Foley Satellite Courthouse
201 East Section St.
Medical Needs Shelter — Operated in conjunction with the Alabama Department of Public Health:
1. Baldwin County Level II Community Shelter
207 North White Ave., Bay Minette
Any resident evacuating to these facilities will need to bring their own supplies such as:
Personal Identification
Sleeping Bags
Pillow
Snacks
Drinks
Medications
Quiet Activities for Children
Change of Clothing
Infant Products
Sanitary Products
Personal Items
Service animals only will be allowed into the facilities, no family pets. The above shelters will remain open until the threat of severe weather and
flooding has passed. Baldwin Rural Area Transportation System (BRATS) will have drivers on standby Saturday to provide transportation for individuals who live in flood-prone areas and have no means of transportation to shelters
or other locations. If you are a resident needing BRATS transportation service, please call (251) 972-6807, Saturday morning, to schedule a pick-up time.
The Baldwin County EMA has a very limited amount of sandbags in supply to distribute to citizens who have no other means of acquiring sandbags. Citizens
who are in need of sandbags should call Baldwin County EMA at (251) 972-6807 to inquire about sandbag availability.
