Hilley is a native Alabamian, born in Birmingham and reared in Grand Bay near the vast expanse of marsh grass and low country, which provides the backdrop for his books.

His novels are all set along the northern Gulf Coast, in and around Mobile.

Sober Justice, Double Take, Electric Beach, Night Rain and The Deposition were released to great acclaim.

Hilley’s books are available now in Books A Million and other bookstores everywhere, and online at all the usual places.
