BAY MINETTE, Alabama — The Baldwin County Commission has recognized the following employees as its employees of the quarter:
Donna Hughes, Office Assistant III, Highway Department.
John Byrd, GIS Analyst I, Communication and Information Systems Department.
Phyllis Evans, Aftercare/Community Coordinator, Baldwin County Regional Wilderness Program.
Ron Stewart, Driver, Baldwin Rural Area Transportation System.
The Baldwin County Commission implemented the employee of the quarter program to publicly recognize outstanding employees and acknowledge their accomplishments and contributions to the Baldwin County Commission as a whole.
Employees may be nominated by their co-workers or a citizen in the community. The employee is then selected based on factors such as significantly improving customer/employee service, or increasing customer satisfaction, significantly improving work processes or increasing implemented procedure efficiency, taking initiative to reduce organizational barriers through activities such as mentoring, voluntarily assisting in cross-functional teams, working to foster collaboration, communication and cooperation among peers, management and staff and performing at a level above and beyond normal job requirements.
Baldwin County citizens and Baldwin County Commission permanent employees may nominate a permanent classified Baldwin County Commission employee by completing the Employee of the Quarter Nomination Form that can be found online at baldwincountyal.gov under the announcements section by clicking the Employee of the Quarter link, or by requesting a form from the Baldwin County Commission Personnel Department by calling 251-937-9561, ext. 1663.
