BAY MINETTE, Ala. — Baldwin County Commissioners collectively reviewed applications this afternoon to fill the county’s Emergency Management Agency director’s post which was vacated by the unexpected April resignation of Melvin Stringfellow.
Seventy-one candidates from across the nation sent resumes to the Commission, according to Commission Chairman Frank Burt. Each of the four commissioners picked five applicants. Priority candidates were selected by two or more Commissioners and “some others who didn’t get two or more picks” also remain in the mix, Burt said.
