FOLEY — The Baldwin County Republican Party will host a Presidential Debate viewing party Thursday, August 6, at Wolf Bay Lodge on County Road in Foley.
The event will begin with a dutch treat buffet dinner at 6:30 PM followed by viewing the debate on Fox News at 8 PM. The top 10 Republican candidates as determined a average of recent polls will be included in the debate.
Following the televised debate, Baldwin County Republican Party Chairman Dr. Gaylon McCollough will moderate a town hall discussion on the candidates responses and strengths/weaknesses in the debate. After the discussion guests will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite candidate in a straw poll
In announcing the debate party, Dr. McCollough said "With an early Presidential Preference Primary on March 8, 2016, Alabama will be more influential in determining our Republican Presidential candidate for 2016. We want to encourage all Republicans to be informed and involved in the Presidential candidate selection process."
All interested Republicans are invited to attend the dinner and debate party on Thursday, August 6, at Wolf Bay Lodge.
