Baldwin County grand jury set to review drug cases, terrorist threat

BAY MINETTE, Ala. — The Baldwin County grand jury will review evidence against a Bon Secour man charged with threatening to kill an officer and his family Jan. 13, according to Baldwin County District Court records.

Joshua Austin Chisolm, 32, of Lewis Smith Drive, remains jailed on a $270,000 bail. He is charged with making terrorist threats and two counts of distribution of a controlled substance.

According to court records, Chisolm threatened to kill a police officer and his family, and told the officer to watch his back.

Other cases set for grand jury review include:

• Justin Lee McGuff, 23, of Plymouth Drive, Mobile, who is charged with first-degree manufacturing of a controlled substance in Fairhope.

McGuff was arrested Jan. 30 by Fairhope police. He also is charged with possession of a controlled substance, second-degree possession of marijuana, not having a firearms license and three traffic charges.

He was released on a $5,000 bail, according to online jail records.

• Darren Killings Jr., 31, of Hickory Street, Bay Minette, who is charged with two counts of distributing a controlled substance.

Killings allegedly sold crack cocaine to two undercover officers Nov. 5 in an area near Hickory Street, court records state.

He has been released on a $10,000 bail.
