Ms. Donna Sumerlin, a 16 year resident of Daphne, Alabama, is deployed on a one-year temporary assignment as the Administrative Officer for the Masir-e Sharif Area Office.

Ms. Sumerlin, a civilian living amongst NATO forces, abiding by Army regulation, is supporting the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Afghanistan Engineer District-North in Mazar-e Sharif, Balkh Province, Afghanistan. Ms. Sumerlin's permanent place of employment is the Mobile District Corps of Engineers in Mobile, Alabama, where she has been for 26 years.
