BAY MINETTE — Four Baldwin County students were transported to a Bay Minette hospital this morning following a bus wreck between Bay Minette and Stapleton.

Three Baldwin County High School girls — two ninth graders, an 11th grader and one eighth grade girl from Bay Minette Middle — were medically examined. The students were treated and released.

One had a severe asthma attack and the others had scrapes and bruises. There were no serious injuries.

Baldwin County Public Schools Bus 06-13 was rear ended by an SUV at Highway 59 and Chandler’s Mobile Home Park entrance between Bay Minette and Stapleton around 7:30 a.m.

There is no word on the condition of the driver of the SUV. Alabama State Troopers investigated.
