Baldwin County Superintendent search narrowed to five candidates

The Baldwin County Board of Education has chosen five finalists in its search for its next superintendent.
Those finalists are – in no particular order:
 
– Dr. Larry DiChiara, Chief Administrative Officer, former Acting Superintendent, Selma City Schools and President, SOY Education Associates, Inc. 
 
– Dr. Reginald Eggleston, Assistant Superintendent, Mobile County Public Schools 
 
– Dr. John Green, Former Superintendent, Jackson County Schools, Georgia and independent education consultant 
 
– Dr. James W. “Kip” Stevens, Head of School, Crisp Academy, Cordele, Georgia 
 
– Mr. Carl E. Tyler, Superintendent, Eufaula City Schools 

 

These top five candidates were selected from 26 applicants in a nationwide search.
The next step is for the Board of Education to set up public interviews with each candidate.
Dates and times will be announced once they’re set.
