FOLEY - The City of Foley, along with season sponsors, proudly announces the return of the ever popular Baldwin Pops Concert Band for a free, one-hour concert in Heritage Park on Friday, May 25. The "Pops," as they are affectionately known, will kick off Memorial Day Weekend with familiar patriotic selections, a children’s flag parade and a salute to the U.S. military men and women who have died in service to our country, and their families. The Foley Middle School Choir will perform at 6 p.m., followed by the Baldwin Pops at 7 p.m.
Come early to purchase fresh and affordable locally-grown produce and prepared food products at the Foley Farmers Market from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Following the concert, a free movie will be shown as part of the weekly Farmers Market and Music and a Movie series, which continues every Friday through June 29.
Heritage Park is located northeast of the intersection of Ala. 59 and U.S. 98 in downtown Foley. Patrons are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets and a picnic. Limited concessions will be available for purchase on site.
