DAPHNE, Ala. — The Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce has invited Dr. Alan Lee, superintendent of Baldwin County Schools, to make a presentation at the Dec. 14 Business Academy Business Brief at Daphne United Methodist Church’s Community Life Center.
Lee will provide an update on the school system, including changes that have taken place since his appointment this year; financial stability; and recent appointments.
A native of Indiana, Lee joined the Baldwin County School System in July of 2010. He holds a Bachelor of Science in education from Indiana University, a Master of Natural Science from University of Idaho and a Doctor of Philosophy degree from Washington State University.
His professional experience includes teaching history and science; serving as principal in elementary, junior high and high schools; educational consultant; adjunct professor and superintendent.
The Eastern Shore Chamber Business Academy Business Brief is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The fee is $15 for members and $20 for potential members, which includes lunch.
