FOLEY, Alabama - Several Baldwin County high school football teams will play in games featured by UTV-44 this season, according to a list provided by the local television station last week.

The Foley Lions, Fairhope Pirates and Daphne Trojans will play in televised games twice this season, while the Fairhope Pirates and Spanish Fort Toros will make the broadcast at least once, according to the schedule.

Fairhope will be the county’s first team featured when the Pirates host former head coach David Faulkner and his Enterprise team in a Class 6A Region 2 game on Sept. 7. Foley and Daphne will square off at Jubilee Stadium the next week in the featured game.

Daphne will be on the UTV broadcast again Sept. 28 when it hosts the McGill-Toolen Yellow Jackets. Spanish Fort will host St. Paul’s on UTV Oct. 5, then Foley will get another television shot when it visits Fairhope Oct. 12.

Featured games are subject to change as of Sept. 28 in order to make sure the station broadcasts the most intriguing games possible.
