GULF SHORES, Ala. - According to Gulf Shores police a white male entered Banktrust in the Winn-Dixie Shopping Center and presented a letter demanding money from the teller. The event prompted officials to place all three Gulf Shores public schools in lock-down.

After receiving cash from the teller's drawer police said the suspect left the bank on foot. The suspect, who is said to have acne scars on his face, is described to be 30 to 40 years-old, between 6 ft. and 6 ft. 2 in. tall, and weigh between 225 and 250 pounds.

He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a heavy rain jacket, dark wrap-around sunglasses, and a camouflage cap.

The case remains under investigation by the Gulf Shores Police Department and the FBI. Anyone with information is urged to call the GSPD at 251-968-2431 or the FBI office in Mobile.
