"3">Barbara Ann Boatwright Long, 61, born in Brewton, Ala. and a resident of Perdido, died Monday, Oct. 10, 2011 at her residence. She was a customer service representative at United Bank.
"3">She is survived by her husband, Douglas B. Long of Perdido; her children, Angela (Terry) Hadley of Perdido and Beth (Ryne) Hicks of Rabun; stepdaughter, Elizabeth Ashley Long (Ben) Cross of Gallatin, Tenn.; her mother, Mattie Mae Boatwright of Perdido; three brothers, Thomas (Shannon) Boatwright Jr. of Gulf Shores, Billy (Rita) Boatwright of Clanton, Ala. and Frank (Deloris) Boatwright Sr. of Perdido; seven grandchildren, Kristin (Brad) Hicks, Katie Johns, Kasey Johns, Caleb Hicks, Bryant Hicks, Blake Hicks and Justin Hicks; and three great-grandchildren, Laine Hicks, Ben Hadley and Cade Henderson.
"3">She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Benjamin Boatwright Sr.
"3">The funeral service will be held Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2011, at 2 p.m., at Perdido Church of God with the Rev. Billy Boatwright, the Rev. Scott Brooks and the Rev. Wendell Hadley officiating. Burial will follow at Lottie New Home Cemetery.
"3">The family will receive friends Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2011, from 6 until 10 p.m., at Perdido Church of God.
"3">Although the family will accept flowers, they suggest memorial contributions be made to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation, Attn: Donor Services, P.O. Box 650309, Dallas, TX 75265-0309.
"3">Pallbearers will be Jamie Boatwright, Joey Boatwright, Trent Stewart, Cole Boatwright, Korey Biggs and Frank Boatwright Jr.
