Barbara Ann Davis, 70, born in Fairhope and a resident of the Crossroads community of Bay Minette, died Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2011 at North Baldwin Infirmary.
She was a dietary aide (retired) at Oakwood Nursing Home. She was also a volunteer at North Baldwin Infirmary.
She Is survived by one son, James A. Davis Jr. of Crossroads; two daughters, Rhonda Wilson of Silverhill and Ann Baria of Crossroads; four brothers, Leon Davis of Magnolia Springs, Arthur Davis of Robertsdale, Nick Davis of Loxley and Bill Davis of Fairhope; four sisters, Rosemary Stuart of Robertsdale, Joyce Collins and Josephine Frank, both of Magnolia Springs, and Mary Willett of Point Clear; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Arnold Davis Sr., and a daughter, Deborah Waldrop.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, Oct. 22, 2011, at 1 p.m., at Durant Chapel Baptist Church, with the Rev. Ron Gilstrap officiating. Burial will follow at Durant Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Saturday, Oct. 22, 2011, from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. service at Durant Chapel Baptist Church.
