Barbara “Faye” Wibel, 75, a native of Eufaula, Ala. and resident of Elberta, died Friday, Nov. 1, 2013.
Mrs. Wibel was a member of Foley United Methodist Church and an active member of her community.
Mrs. Wibel was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Elmer Wibel III.
She is survived by her daughter, LuAnn Eslava of Foley; son, Scott (Kelly) Wibel of Blue Ridge, Ga.; and grandson, Kip Eslava of Foley.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2013 at the chapel of Pine Rest Funeral Home in Foley. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the time of service, with private family interment to follow in Pine Rest Memorial Park.
The family suggests memorial contributions in Mrs. Wibel’s name to Foley United Methodist Church Building Fund, 915 N. Pine St., Foley, AL 36535.
