Barbara Grey Ellison, age 76, a native and resident of Rosinton, passed away Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012.
She was a wonderful homemaker and enjoyed farming with her husband and tending to her flowers. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herschel Grey and Ruth Childress Grey and she is survived by her husband of 58 years, Carl Ellison of Rosinton; daughter, Sue (William) McDaniel of Robertsdale, four sons, Robert (Peggy) Ellison, Styx River Community, Michael (Deborah) Ellison of Rosinton, Mark (Catherine) Ellison and Shane (Kay) Ellison both of Loxley; two sisters, Dorothy Gruner of Summerdale, and Mary Gates of Robertsdale; 11 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services will be held Monday, Dec. 31, 2012 at 2 p.m. at the Mack Funeral Home Chapel with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in the New Cooper Cemetery, Rosinton. Pallbearers include: Robbie Ellison, Dallas Ellison, Cassidy Ellison, Dusty McDaniel, Landon Ellison and Burie Ellison.
