Barbara Karstetter, 74, a resident of Rosinton, died Sunday, Aug. 21, 2011 at Thomas Hospital.
Mrs. Karstetter is preceded in death by her first husband, Francis Voivedich; her son, Francis “Benny” Voivedich Jr.; and two brothers, Roger Sharpe and Barry Sharpe.
She is survived by her husband, Roe V. Karstetter, of Robertsdale; one son, Ellis (Diane) Voivedich, of Faunsdale, AL; one daughter, Debbie (Thomas C.) Stewart of Alabaster, Ala.; four brothers, James Manning Jr., Sam Manning, and Buddy Sharpe, all of Mobile, Ala. and Marcus Manning of Gulf Shores; two sisters, Marlene Sharpe of Illinois and Beverly Brownlee of Fairhope; 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday Aug. 24, 2011, at 2 p.m., at the Mack Funeral Home Chapel in Robertsdale. A visitation will also be held for Mrs. Karstetter Wednesday, Aug. 24, from noon to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
