Barbara Wiles Montgomery, 84, of Fairhope, died peacefully in her sleep April 3, 2014 with her son and daughter-in-law by her side.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Russell.
She is survived by her son, Mark (Judy); and her grandsons, Keith and Kyle (Nickie).
Born and raised in South Australia, Barbara moved to the United States in 1967 to take a position with the British Consulate in Chicago as vice consul. Upon retirement, she relocated to Fairhope.
She was an avid animal lover her entire life. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be sent to The Haven for Animals, Fairhope.
A private memorial service is planned.
