Julia Elizabeth Barboza, 85, a resident of the Dyas community of Bay Minette, died Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2008 at Oakwood.
She was a retired presser in the clothing manufacturing business.
Survivors include a daughter, Alice Browning of Tiverton, R.I.; brother, Gilbert Soares of Portsmouth, R.I.; many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 3 at St. Agatha Catholic Church with the Rev. Ernie Hyndman officiating. Burial will follow at Bay Minette Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Norris Funeral Home, Bay Minette.
