Alice Garrett Barlow, 87, born Oct. 3, 1921 in Baldwin County, died Monday, March 9, 2009 at Monarch Estates in Auburn.
She grew up in Bay Minette and lived most of her life in Mobile. She was an active member of Community of Christ in Mobile.
Survivors include her husband Edward Barlow of Mobile; three daughters, Pam (Wesley) Cleaveland of LaGrange, Ga., Pat (Jack) Clark of Tallassee and Marie (Keith) Geis of Wheatland, Wyo.; eight grandchildren, Beth Cleaveland, Rebecca Cleaveland (Josh) Connell, Melissa Cleaveland, Emily Clark Kelley and Marlena, Michael Clark, Carolyn Clark (Todd) Jolly, Jared (Christina) Geis and Havely Geis (Tom) Holt; four great-granddaughters; and a brother, John A. Garrett of Snowdoun.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 14 at Community of Christ in Mobile with High Priest George Farnell officiating, assisted by John Williamson.
The family requests memorial donations be made to Bluff Springs Endowment Fund, 1300 Liahona Trail McDavid, FL 32568.
