James Edward “Bill” Barrett Jr., 87, died Feb. 16, 2009.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Catherine Glasgow Barrett of Fairhope; three sons, James “Jim” Barrett of Gainesville, Fla., Donald “Donnie” Hatchett Barrett of Fairhope and Ronald “Ron” Glasgow Barrett of Daphne; two granddaughters, Shelby Barrett Murphree of Ft. Smith, Ark., Hannah Barrett of Durham, N.C.; many other relatives and friends.
Visitation begins at 1 p.m. with a Celebration of Life service at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 15 at First Baptist Church of Fairhope with Dr. Jerry Henry officiating. Interment will follow at Montrose Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., Fairhope.
