He was active duty for the U.S. Air Force and a graduate from Baldwin County High School, Class of 2000 and he attended the Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Marion Maynard and an uncle, Bruce Bartley.
Survivors include his parents, Edwin and Carolyn Bartley of Phillipsville; two brothers, Edwin Scott Bartley of Perdido and Staff Sgt. David Michael ( Heather) Eisenhower of the USMC; grandparents, Mary Lou Maynard of Bradenton, Fla.; Mr. and Mrs. L.S. Bartley of Phillipsville and Kitty L. Mouille of Atmore; aunts and uncles, Johnnie and Barbara Ryland, Ronnie and Viola Ryland, Donnie and Connie Ryland, and Beth and Sherrie Smith; numerous other aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Feb. 26 at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Peter Spraque and the Rev. Lawrence Tennant officiating. Burial followed at Walnut Hill Baptist Cemetery with full military honors.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the Gold Star Wives of America or other military charities of your choice.
