Sylvia Nelson Bauer, 75, died Thursday, Dec. 11, 2008 in Daphne.
She was a lifelong member of Daphne Baptist Church where she was a member of the choir and faithful Sunday School teacher.
Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Albert R. Bauer Sr. of Daphne; two sons, Albert R. Bauer Jr. of Fairhope, Steven L. (Dana) Bauer of Daphne; two sisters, Sandra Nelson (Charles) Thompson of Fairhope, Mary Lou Nelson (Harold) Yeager of Silverhill; brother, Braxton E. (Brenda) Nelson Sr. of Pensacola, Fla.; six grandchildren, William Nelson (Abby) Bauer, Albert Blake Bauer, Amy LeAnn Bauer, Marie Nicole Bauer, Bethany Ann Freeman, Braxton Lindsey Bauer; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives; special loved ones, Tracy Bishop, Lindsey Harris, her church family and a host of loving friends and neighbors.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 15 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Daphne. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 16 at Daphne Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Jubilee Memorial Gardens.
