BAY MINETTE, Ala. — At approximately 7:30 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 21, Alabama State Troopers responded to investigate a single-vehicle crash that claimed the life of a Baldwin County man.

The crash occurred on D’Olive Road approximately two miles west of Bay Minette. Jonathon Anthony Smith Sr., 32, of Bay Minette was killed when the 1997 Ford F150 he was driving traveled off of the roadway and overturned. Smith was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected. He was pronounced dead at the scene. State Troopers continue to investigate.
