BAY MINETTE, Ala. — Researching a family tree just became easier in North Baldwin County as the Bay Minette Public Library now offers unlimited access to Ancestry.com.

According to information provided by a flyer, library visitors can access census and other records on the genealogy website.

“You can find the link, http://ancestrylibrary.proquest.com, under the ‘valuable resources’ heading on our website, www.bayminettepubliclibrary.org,” the library flyer states.

But there is a catch to having free access to the website, which normally costs a fee for record acess.

“The database can only be accessed via one of our patron computers or your laptop using our wireless connection,” the library flyer states.
