FAIRHOPE, Ala. — Cinderella and her handsome prince will visit the Children’s Activity Room at the Fairhope Public Library for Cinderella Story Time on Saturday, March 29, from 10–11:30 a.m.
Bay Shore Ballet Theatre is presenting the event in cooperation with the Fairhope Public Library.
Children may wear a favorite Disney costume, and have their picture taken with Cinderella and other cast members. They may also visit with the Prince, try on the Glass Slipper and hear enchanting stories.
Bay Shore Ballet Theatre will present two school performances of the beloved classic, “Cinderella,” at the Fairhope Civic Center on April 25 at 9:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.
As part of the academy’s popular Education in the Arts series, the classical ballet production is adapted for special 45-minute school performances.
Students will experience classical ballet choreography, classical music and professional stage sets in an atmosphere designed to delight and inspire students of all ages.
Curriculum materials, including CDs are available to teachers.
Seating is limited. Tickets are $3 per student. Teachers attend free.

Under the leadership of Director Janet Carole, the Bay Shore Ballet Theatre has showcased guest artists and principals of the ballet company along with aspiring students of the academy since its inception in 1997.
An array of beloved classics has been presented including “Cinderella,” “Hansel and Gretel,” “Coppelia,” “The Sleeping Beauty,” “La Boutique Fantasque,” “Peter and The Wolf,” “Paquita” and its well-received annual production of “The Nutcracker.”
The academy is known for developing technical excellence in young aspiring dancers and encouraging enthusiasm and self-esteem in its students.
The program is pre-professional for those who aspire to dance professionally.
