Bayside Academy boys move into Class 3A top 10

DAPHNE, Alabama - The Bayside Academy boys basketball team moved into the Alabama Sports Writers Association high school basketball poll this week.

The Admirals (21-6) are ranked No. 8 this week and beat Cottage Hill 47-41 in 3A Area 1 play on Tuesday. The Admirals finished the regular season with a 6-0 record in Area 1 play and will host the area tournament starting Tuesday. Class 5A Spanish Fort (21-5) fell out of the top 10 this week. No Baldwin County girls teams are ranked.
