DAPHNE, Ala.— Bayside Academy held an appreciation assembly Tuesday for the 2013 state champion girls cross country and state champion volleyball teams. 

The Bayside Academy Lady Admirals cross country team won the Alabama High School Athletic Association Girls’ 3A State championship for the second consecutive year. This is the school's fourth cross-country title under head coach Alan Foster and the sixth in school history.

The Lady Admiral roster includes Mary Catherine Branyon, Abby Warner and Delaney Klutes who all earned All-State Honors, and Lucy Barnes, Shelby Barton, Amalie Beard, Pernille Buhl, Carlisle Calametti, Catie Caldwell, Callie Corte, Madison Grace, Mary Helen Hall, Helene Heebe, Mary Grace Hellmich, Brittany Houseman, Darby Kemper, Isabel Leatherbury, Megan McCrory, Grace McDonald, Natalie Melton, Safiya Mulla, Emi Rudat, Madison Shelley, Turner Spottswood, Bowen Spottswood, Mattie Thompson and Haley Tripp.
