PERDIDO, Alabama — For the past 16 years, members of the Baldwin County Home Builders Association have provided Christmas gifts and toys to the children of CAREHouse.
Each year, members select tool ornaments with names of the children from their “Tool Tree.” Members then receive the children’s wish list. Presents are purchased for the abused children and their siblings.
Gift cards are also given to the family to use for their Christmas meal. Fran Druse of BCHBA states, “We enjoy getting the gifts and toys for the children and plan to continue for as long as there is a need. Our staff member Marsha Jordan enjoys working on this project every year.”
The CAREHouse staff wishes to express our sincere appreciation for the care and thought the members put into selecting the gifts.
