BAY MINETTE – Baldwin County Lady Tiger volleyball coach Scott Daugherty expects a marked improvement from last year’s 10-20 record.

Daugherty, who enters his second season as BCHS head coach, said he believes his team is capable of much more than it accomplished in 2009.

“Last year we finished 10-20 but we are expecting a huge improvement from that,” Daugherty said. “Losing games because of mistakes and not hustling around the court should not be a downfall of this team. They have worked hard over the past few weeks to get in shape and to get better, now we just have to focus on the little things that determine a game.”

BCHS has two seniors this season. Jasmine Mims returns, while Dallas Guy transferred in before the school year. Juniors are Alex Easley, Ashley Lewis, Summer Moody, Emily Waters, Audra Forbes, Brigitt Ramer, Aprica Bradley and Heather Knowlton. Freshman Katelyn Crenshaw and sophomore Nakea McDougal round out the Lady Tiger roster.
