4 boys tournament with a 74-64 win over Williamson at McGill-Toolen

Catholic in the first round Friday. The BCHS Tigers will meet

McGill-Toolen —which defeated Satsuma 74-24— for the Area 4 title. The

championship game for 6A Area 4 boys is set for 7:30 p.m. at

McGill-Toolen Monday.

BCHS head coach Lorenzo Hunter said his team led by 14 points at the

half and built an even bigger lead early in the third quarter but

relaxed a little too much in the second half. The Tigers swept

Williamson in the regular season as well.

"We were up by 22 somewhere around mid-third quarter," he said. "But

then got a little sloppy with the basketball and let them get closer

about 10-11 points. They cut it to five points and we ended up having

to make made some rotational changes that seemed to work for us and

let us pretty much close the ball game out. Basically, they played a

good third quarter and we didn't."

The Tigers take a 20-11 record into the title game with the 22-6 Yellow Jackets.

Hunter said his team which is 0-2 against the Jackets this year will

to be at the top of their game Monday.

"First of all we need to take care of the ball," he said. "If we do

that we can put more pressure on them. But they are good this year so

we need to be ready to stay focused from the get go."
