Beaches closed in Gulf Shores, Orange Beach

GULF SHORES, Ala. - The City of Gulf Shores, City of Orange Beach, and Gulf State Park are now flying double red flags.

The presence of widespread dangerous rip currents and high surf conditions from the development of Tropical Storm Debby have made it unsafe to enter the water along Baldwin County's beaches. Rip currents are life threatening to anyone entering the surf.

 

Double red flags indicate that waters are closed to the public.Officials will continue to monitor surf conditions and adjust accordingly.
