GULF SHORES, Ala.  - The Beach is Back. Although the 2020 NCAA National Beach Championships at the Hang Out were spiked due to COVID-19, competitive 2-on-2 volleyball in the sand is back this weekend. The BeachFest 2020 National Volleyball Qualifier was set for Saturday and Sunday (June 20-21) on Gulf Shores Parkway. Boys and Girls teams in different age-divisions will compete.

Among the competitors were a junior team from Tennessee coached by acclaimed Hyden Beach volleyball academy founder John Hyden who has worked with many NCAA and Olympic champions, including three-time gold medalist Kerry Walsh Jennings.
