Beatrice “Bea” Langley Mothershed, 87, born in Waynesboro, Miss., and a resident of the Phillipsville Community, died Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at Oakwood Nursing Home. She was a homemaker. She is survived by her children, Jimmy D. Mothershed, Phillipsville; Patsy J. (Richard) Lombardi, Fairhope; Lindsay Mothershed, Wetumpka; and Steve M. (Janie) Mothershed, Selma; one brother, Austin Langley, Gulf Shores; one sister, Voncile Stanley of Hattisburg, Miss.; six grandchildren, Angela Collier, April Brown, Brooke Griffith, Ashley Dunn, Jon Mothershed and Carlyn Mothershed; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband George J. “Ted” Mothershed. Funeral services were Friday at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Klotz officiating.
