Virgie Carrell Beck, 79, a resident of Fairhope, died Saturday, July 26, 2008, at a local hospital.
She was preceded in death by her husband: James N. Beck of Oakman.
Survivors include five sons,
James A. (Linda) Beck Sr. of Silverhill, Charles E. (Pat) Beck of Jasper, Ronald A. (Brenda) Beck of Trussvile, Michael D. (Sharon) Beck of Oakman and Douglas A. (Brenda) Beck of Mobile; daughter, Joan Beck (Joe) Plumkett of Guntersville; brother, Dennis D. (Charlotte) Carrel of Mongolia; 22 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 28 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Fairhope. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 29 at Walker Memory Gardens in Jasper.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the Neuropathy Association, 60 E. 42nd St. Suite 942, New York, NY 10165-0999.
