Margaret Brown Beech, 88, a native of Mississippi and resident of Lillian, died Saturday, May 8, 2010 in Foley.
She was born Dec. 23, 1921 in Vernal, Miss., to Joseph and Laney Box Brown. She graduated from Foley High School. On March 1, 1941, she married the love of her life, Glennon Gilbert Beech. She attended the First Baptist Church of Lillian.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters and brothers. .
Survivors include two sons, Glennon (Barbara) Beech Jr. of Pensacola, Fla., and Johnny Beech of Lillian; two daughters, Cheryl (Rick) Jensen of Perdido Beach and Carol (Bart) Gammons of Chesterfield, Va.; 14 grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, five step-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation begins at noon with funeral services at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May12 at Pine Rest Funeral Home. Graveside service will follow at Pine Rest Memorial Park with the Rev. Virgil Payne officiating.
Pallbearers are grandsons, Glennon Beech III, Rick Jensen Jr., Jeff Jensen, Jeremy Beech, Dustin Beech, and John Beech.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the charity of your choice.
