GULF SHORES, Ala. — “The Sound of Music,” the story of the real Von Trapp family who escaped Nazi-occupied Austria during World War II, is being presented by the South Baldwin Community Theatre through Oct. 4 at its newly renovated home, 2022 W. Second St. in Gulf Shores.
The 32-member cast have been practicing for weeks to perfect their dance steps and songs under the direction of James Keith Posey.
Thursday, Friday and Saturday shows are at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday matinees are at 2 p.m.
Tickets are $18 for adults and $12 for students. Group rates are available.
