Belva B. Tyree, 81, a native of Saw, Ky., and a resident of Perdido, died Saturday, March 5, 2011 at her residence.
She was a retired cook.
Survivors include three sons, Alexander Tyree, Bennie Tyree and Denver Tyree Sr., all of Perdido; two daughters, Tammy Brown and Teresa Tyree, both of Perdido; brother, Robert Baker of Perdido; three sisters, Beulah Henderson of Perdido, Bertha Campbell of Loveland, Ohio, and Neva Atkins of Robertsdale; 19 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, March 9 at Norris Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 10 from the funeral home chapel with Helen Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at Bryars-McGill Cemetery.
