Gordon Bemis of Oyster Bay and Pamelia Ulrich of Fairhope announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer De’Anne Bemis, to Robert Bradley Evans, the son of Robert C. and Lisa Evans of Elberta.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of A.G. and Bobbi Bemis of Oyster Bay, Lucille Reed of Foley and the late Charles W. Reed.
She is a graduate of Foley High School and a graduate of the University of West Florida with a bachelor of science degree in clinical laboratory science and is certified by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists. She begins working at South Baldwin Regional Medical Center at the end of August.
The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Jack and Sue Evans of Wopakoneta, Ohio, Charles and Linda Weaver of Poplarville, Miss., Wayne and Judy Merchant of Elberta.
He is a graduate of Foley High School and has an associate degree in science engineering from Faulkner State Community College. He is pursuing a bachelor of science degree in information technology at the University of West Florida. He is employed at Wittichen Supply Company in Foley.
The couple will exchange vows Sept. 8, 2007 at St. Peter’s of Bon Secour Episcopal Church.
