Ashley Magen Bennett and Stephen Leonard Strickland were united in marriage Dec. 27, 2009 at 2 p.m. at Saint Francis at the Point Traditional Episcopal Church. The Rev. Rob Haynes officiated at the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ric E. Bennett Jr. of Fairhope. The bridegroom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. H. Len Strickland Jr. of Fairhope.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Melanie Cain served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Cathy de Gruy, Natalie Roebuck, Brandi Robbbins and Katie Rourke.
Davis Strickland served as best man. Groomsmen were Ric Bennett, Brian Hixon, Drew Scogin and John Rodriguez-Feo.
Sara Mazur was the flower girl. Marshall Latture was the ring bearer.
A reception at the Fairhope Yacht Club followed the ceremony.
After a wedding trip to Florida, the couple reside in Homewood.
