Sonia Belgers Berg, 78, a native of Flint, Mich., and a resident of Daphne, died Thursday, March 4, 2010.
She lived on the Eastern Shore for over 10 years and was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church. She was an Air Force veteran.
Survivors include a daughter, Denise (Mark) Mellor of Omaha, Neb.; sister, Simone Erdly of Kalkaska, Mich.; two grandchildren, Joshua (Mariah) Chrans and Jacob Chrans; four great-grandchildren, Jaime Brown, Brian Brown, Sophia Chrans, Mischa Chrans; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation begins at 9 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 11 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church. Graveside services and interment begins at 2 p.m. at Barrancas National Cemetery, NAS Pensacola, Fla.
The family requests memorial donations be made to St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 370 S. Section St., Fairhope, AL 36532.
