Mary Elizabeth Hinton Berlage, 90, a native of Kentucky and a resident of Daphne for over 50 years, died Wednesday, April 21, 2010.
She was preceded in death by herhusband, Edwin Joseph “Joe” Berlage; and two sons, Edwin John Berlage and Duane Claiborne Berlage.
Survivors include two sons, Richard Lee Berlage of Daphne and James Albert (Kay) Berlage of Silverhill; two daughters, Dixie B. (Frank) Fabre of Pensacola, Fla., and Mary Sheila Rogers of Daphne; brother, Louis (Elaine) Hinton of Hardinsburg, Ky.; two sisters, Frances Payne of Hardinsburg, Ky., and Imelda Richardson of Louisville, Ky.; nine grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation begins at 10:30 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. Friday, April 23 at Christ the King Catholic Church, Daphne. Interment will follow at Belforest Catholic Cemetery.
