Bernice Edwards, 69, a resident of Silverhill, died Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2013.
Ms. Edwards was preceded in death by her father, William Bernard Coleman; brothers, Kenneth Coleman and Carl Ray Coleman; daughter, Carolyn Donnelly; and grandchildren, Terry Donnelly and Lynzi Edwards.
She is survived by her son, Charles (Dawn) Edwards of Baton Rouge, La.; daughter, Darlene Franklin of Silverhill; mother, Mattie Sue Coleman of Foley; sisters, Lillie Reynolds of Bay Minette, Mary Lou Whitehead of Foley, Linda Wilson of Severna Park, Md., Wanda Harms of Summerdale and Virginia Harms of Summerdale; 15 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 9, 2013 at Bibleway Assembly Church. Interment will be 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2013 in Pine Rest Memorial Park.
