Bernnie Louis Russell, age 91, a resident of Fairhope, passed away, Monday, Jan. 22, 2018.
He was a U.S. veteran, serving in WW II and the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Thomas Hospital Auxiliary. Bernnie loved square dancing, sewing, cooking and taking long trips.
Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Joan Russell of Fairhope; daughters, Cherie (Curt) Charnock of Fairhope and Susan (Steve) Raney of Colorado Springs; son, Mark (Beth) Russell of Ft. Worth, Texas; five grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; sister, Evelyn (Larry) Wodrich of Phoenix, Arizona; brother, Marvin (Sonja) Russell; many other loving relatives and friends.
A celebration of Bernnie's life will be held Saturday, Jan. 27, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope.
