Bertia Roley Donald of Atmore passed away Wednesday May 9, 2012 at her residence.
She was a homemaker, born on November 13, 1921 in Halls Fork, Al. to the late Malcolm and Dora Godwin Roley. She is preceded in death by her husband Graham L. Donald; a great-granddaughter; Sarah Smelly, fifteen brothers and sisters. Survivors are four daughters; Barbara Isham, husband Dexter of Mobile, Al., Judy Brazell of Theodore, Al., Linda Reid and husband Stan of Bay Minette, Al., and Wanda Hughes and husband Wesley of Atmore, Al. and one sister Clara Stephens of Jackson, Ms. Eleven grand children: Angela Richardson and husband John Roe of Mobile, Al., Kerri Smelly and husband Jesse of Mobile, Al., Toni Reid Prine of Canton,Ga., Shelly Jay and husband Allen of Atmore, Al. and Kindal Reid Yessick and husband Jackson of Theodore, Al., Robby Reid and wife Mandy of Stapleton,Al., Michael Hughes of Daphne, Al., Chris Brazell and wife Charlie Brook of Mobile, Al., Mithcell Hughes and wife Samatha of Salem, Ma., Jerry Entrekin, Mobile, Al., and Jamie Entrekin of Mobile,Al. Fourteen great grand children and one great great grandchild. Services were held on Mothers Day May 13, 2012. Johnson Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Robert Heard and Bro. Dave Taylor offication. Interment followed at Serenity Gardens in Atmore.
