Betty Elsie Willis, age 81, a native of Texas and a resident of Elberta, passed away Aug. 28, 2015.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, friend and sister.
Preceded in death by her mother, Nellie Fode; father, William Harvey Taylor; husband, Bruce Willis Jr.; son, Bruce Willis III; best friend, Arthur Nichols; sisters, Ruth Jones, Alma Williams; and a brother, William Harvey Taylor Jr.
She is survived by her daughter, Laura (Fred) Alms of Elberta; granddaughters, Tracy (Michael) Courtney of Foley, Lisa (Benjaman) Kiser of Elberta; sisters, Grace Fry and Francis Lynch, both of Texas, Margaret Smith of Elberta; brother; Jimmy Taylor of Texas; many other family and friends.
Funeral service will be held from Swift Presbyterian Chapel, Monday, Aug. 31, 2015 at 2 p.m.
Family will receive friends one hour prior to funeral service.
Interment will follow in Swift Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Covenant Hospice, 1040 Stanton Road, Daphne, AL 36526 in Betty Willis’ name.
